Vince Henneburg is a staff therapist at the Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic of Chicago. He graduated with a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, with a specific concentration in clinical social work.
Mr. Henneburg has several years of experience working with adults and teenagers in a variety of settings. Prior to joining DASC, he worked at a community mental health center, providing individual and couples counseling to clients facing a wide variety of issues related to emotional and mental health, as well as difficult life circumstances. Mr. Henneburg has also worked as a case manager supporting people living with chronic illnesses. Prior to becoming a therapist, Mr. Henneburg worked as a teacher and mentor for high school students, with a specific emphasis on providing social and emotional support to students with high needs.
Mr. Henneburg partners with clients to assist them in discovering what freedom from difficult emotions and a life driven by values look like. He draws on a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and solution-focused therapy. He also facilitates the OCD Support Group and co-facilitates a DBT group.
